Middlesex 7s 09 July 2011Competition

IT'S that time of year again at Twickers! [though granted a tad earlier than usual...]

British ArmyNow in its 87th year the Middlesex 7s is the world’s longest running 7s competition.  Sixteen teams battle it out for the SamuraiRussell Cargill Trophy in a knockout competition starting at 10.30. This year the competitors include the Brazilian national team who are starting their Rugby 7s campaign in the lead up to the Rio Olympic Games in 2016 where Rugby 7s becomes an official sport for the very first time.  Also in Brazilthe line up is last year’s winners Samurai International with players including past England 7s captain Andrew Vilk and Tim Walsh. The British Army 7s will be fielding a strong 7s side including the Fijian contingent who always thrill the crowd with their rugby skills and pace.

Of course we just had to run a competition for this fab day out, so we've bagged 6 tickets for you & your mates to come & join in the revelry. So to win just answer this...

Army Navy 2011

ON Saturday 7th May 2011, the traditional Army v Navy rugby match returns to Twickenham Stadium for another passionate encounter between Her Majesty's Armed Forces.

Army Rugby UnionRoyal Navy Rugby UnionHeld at HQ since 1920, the famous fixture is the final match of the Babcock Inter-Services Championship, and creates the most competitive atmosphere of any clash at Twickenham.

In a hard fought match that could have gone either way, it was the Navy who left with the coveted Babcock Trophy in 2010.

And we have two pairs of tickets to give away to our lucky winners which not only get you to HQ in the afternoon, but allow access to the other Army vs Navy matches between the Masters and the Ladies sides at Kneller Hall which KO at 10.30am, so why start in the afternoon when there's an entire morning's worth of revelry to join in!
